Trump again claims credit for ending India-Pakistan war, says Pakistan PM thanked him

US President Donald Trump again claimed at the UN General Assembly that he settled the India-Pakistan conflict last year, including it among eight wars he said he had helped resolve. Trump said Pakistans prime minister credited him with saving 30 million lives, while India has consistently maintained that the cessation of hostilities was reached through direct talks between the two countries Directors General of Military Operations. Trump also said he expects the Russia-Ukraine conflict to be resolved, warned Iran it will never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon and said he believes a deal with Tehran could come after the US midterm election.
