More sleep means good health? Answer is no. Study says people with diabetes face risk of developing deadly liver disease with rise in nap time. Research presented at ENDO 2026 found that people with type 2 diabetes who take naps longer than 30 minutes may face a higher risk of developing metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). The findings suggest that sleep habits could help identify people at risk.
